If you got an email from me, replying to it lands in the same inbox. That counts as contact; you don't need this page for it.

Good reasons to write

• You found an error, a broken link, or something that reads wrong.
• You have a question about something in an essay.
• You want to republish or translate a piece.
• You're inviting me to an interview or a podcast. Text or audio both work; I stay pseudonymous either way.

Less good reasons: personal advice (I'm not qualified, and the essays already say everything I'd say), pitches, and promotion swaps. I'll read it anyway, but the answer is usually silence.

What to expect

I read everything myself. Replies take days, not hours; I'm one person with an inbox. If a week has passed and it mattered, write again, no offense taken either way.

I'm not active on social media; this site and the Tuesday email are the only places I speak.
